Cox Moves Kelley

Cox will wake up one day and find that they over-regulated themselves into ruining their investment. Oh well. Corporate radio taskmasters never seem to "get it".

How old is John Erhling? Isn't he retired?

Ehrling retired when Kelley took over mornings. However, he still does public appearances around town on KRMG's behalf. Or at least he did a few years ago.

After he retired Erling worked for I believe Ackerman & McQueen and sort of became Tulsa's unofficial master of ceremonies for various public events. He also had a side project where he was interviewing various famous Oklahomans about events in history.

I believe he's out of the ad and master of ceremonies businesses. I'm not sure what he does these days besides record a few spots for clients that air on KRMG.

John is doing the oral history project Voices of Oklahoma.com. Some awesome interviews. We have lunch about every other month or so. He is doing well. I think he enjoys sleeping in.
