COX not "COOL" with WPRI-DT2

Cable companies always claim to not have room for new channels. At least that is the way it used to be. Eventually they will catch up and most likely add them. The channel just went on the air not to long ago. I would guess that they just need more time to add it.

Does anybody know why Cox is not carrying WPRI-D2 "The Cool TV"?
Looking at the channel guide every cable system in Rhode Island and SE Mass is carrying it.

I believe you said that wrong. As you said every cable system is carrying it.

I did a rescan with my TV's QAM tuner here in New Britain, CT. Sure enough, Cool TV popped up on QAM channel 47-2. The newer model Sanyo in the other room and my DVD recorder both work better with the virtual channel of a local. They both displayed it correctly as WCTX 59-2.
