For the next few days COX Cable is offering a Free Preview off all the "Premium" Channels - HBO/Cinemax, Showtime/The Movie Channel, Starz/Encore, and Epix. However they no longer allow you to DVR these channels unless you're already a subscriber to them, which I think is pretty lousy. This is a recent change. It wasn't that long ago that they offered a Free Preview of HBO/Cinemax and I was able to DVR several movies off both networks for both myself and my mom.
