COX RI debuts OSN "OCEAN STATE NETWORK"

OSN-THE OCEAN STATE NETWORK debuted on channel 05 and 1005 replacing RI NEWS channel.WJAR has been airing loops of news since January on ch.5.according to the crawl they will be airing the local sports that would normally air on Cox 3.The crawl also states the full debut will be on 5/2.Now, I am not sure if WLVI-56 newscasts also move to channel 5.It would be a smart move if WJAR opts out of a live 10 o'clock newscast on OSN.

Does COX even still air WHDH/WLVI 10 o'clock news?I dont know why they just dont pick up NECN.

I hope they DO NOT get rid of WHDH news at 10pm. I think it would be beneficial for them to air a live newscast at 10pm rather than a rerun of a 7pm newscasts. Also, there are many people who live in RI that are originally from the Boston area who don't have any other access to a Boston newscast.

Yep, 7 News at 10 is still on channel 3/1003. They got it in HD too. It's nice to watch sometimes.

As of 8:00 pm 5/1. COX3 is off the line-up

It's off the digital lineup. It remains on the analog lineup.

Near as I can tell, "OSN" airs as a 24/7 infomercial channel in Connecticut, despite the listings showing acutal programming.
