Cox rolls out new website designs

WSB-AM's website is the first under the new design. Looks awful.

Video features have been added, but other than that there is nothing else new.

I suspect the FM sites will be redone in the next couple of weeks.

Simple design, easy navigation, good looks, continuous content updates that are relevant.

B98.5 switched over to the new design Friday Afternoon, and the River and Kiss 104.1 today (95.5 the Beat is still on the old design). The FM music sites includes music videos and song lyrics.

What I don't like (and find odd) is that they are using modified versions of the station logos with the website URL instead of the main station logo. Looks very weird. That needs to be changed back to the regular logos. Most people that find the site might think the actual station name is called WSBRADIO.COM or B985.COM, not News/Talk 750 WSB or B98.5FM.

Seriously? You think someone's going to write "WSBRADIO.COM" in an Arbitron diary because it's on their website? (I'll grant you, stranger things have happened...)

Maybe this is a step towards the whole cellphone streaming radio thing from another thread, and the stations really WILL be .com's?
