On Bubba's show today, I heard the most reckless and unlistenable tirade against MJ from FLZ. His statements were irrational, wild and all over the road. He went from kissing Hulk Hogan's butt to laughable suggestions of payola and Arbitron fixing by MJ? Clear Channel should refile their lawsuit with what was broadcast today. Bubba better have proof of his crazy claims. It's obvious that Jay O'Connell has no control over Bubba. Does Cox Atlanta have any clue what they've stepped in? Hope Jay has a "PLAN B"!!!!!

Interestingly, Clear Channel management (Hogan, DiLorrto, Harden) apparently haven't caved to Bubba's threats of questioning. I wonder what dirt THEY HAVE ON BUBBA??

I guess Jay O'Connell is just spending too much time with his brother Jerry O'Connell and wife Supermodel Rebecca Romijn helping them take care of his new twin nephews to care!!!!
 
back when radio was good, this was normal and no lawsuits were filed. two radio personalities insulting each other, big deal, file a lawsuit?

seems to me our courts have more pressing issues to preside over than two radio clowns trading insults in morning drive.

as for riveting radio, unless you know the players it is BORING AS HELL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I agree with scrubnurse. Way over the top. I have heard things that I've cringed at. I'm no lawyer, but I know that many things are just libelous and can't be free speach. This is not about two stations ribbing each other, it's an out of control crazy attempt to lie about MJ and ruin his reputation. And as far as two DJ's insulting each other? I was under the impression that MJ has never even mentioned BUbba, atleast I have never heard it? It appears that nobody @ Cox/Tampa has any control over the situation...this is not at all normal Mr. Musicman11
 
again, you know and care way more about this than i do. It is boring and the reputation of a 'dj', please. Mj has a solid reputation? he's a morning drive dj who does wacky things to garner an audience. Yes, he does a more 'serious' afternoon show where he basically copies the likes of rush limbaugh, glenn beck.......

two jocks looking for publicity, nothing more, nothing less.
 
I still prefer the battle between WDUV and WSJT. Very exciting and great for the blood pressure.
