Cox Television group makes deal for ME-TV

Several medium size tv station groups have made a deal with Weigel to carry ME-TV (memorable entertainment TV). Some info says the retro tv network will be on a digital sub channel of channel 2. Does this mean bye bye RTV or will Me-TV show up on 2.3 ?

Hope not. I rather like the old Universal catalog on RTV.

RTV is ok, but I think Me-TV will be much better. I did some web research and found out
that 2.2 started on 1-28-08. So if they are doing yearly contracts, Me may not arrive till
next January.................making WSB one of the last stations to get it.

I think RTV will probably move to WANN 32 or WTBS 26.

WSB-TV is not running a full 1080p or 1080i. Since the main channel is only 720p, would they have enough bandwidth for two other channels? Meaning... could WSB-TV carry both?

I e-mailed the station and they said the switch should take place sometime
this summer. I'm guessing late Summer, like September.......which is still
better than January.

Any opinions on the line up yet. I tuned in this morning to catch an episode of "The Beverly Hillbillies". Looks the same as what airs on WGN at 8 am. Otherwise, the schedule looked good.
