COZI TV Cox Ch. 85 Issue...

This channel does not broadcast in HD...or at least cox does not provide it in HD.

To avoid the vertical black bars, I use my HD zoom to stretch/fill out the picture.

This morning (Tues) was watching THE LONE RANGER and ZORRO (yes, fond childhood memories),

and thepicture was in the 4:3 fromat. no matter what i tried, I could not fill out the screen.

Anyone know why? Any recourse?

Thanks.

OK. But can you explain why I can no longer stretch/fill the picture to fit the TV screen.

Doesn't matter what I settings I try, I just get a 4:3 picture with black bars on both sides of screen on COZI.

This is the same today. On other channels, like ME-TV, for example, I am able to stretch/fill screen without a problem.

Has COZI changed something in how they are sending their broadcast to Cox? I'm not sure this is a Cox issue.

Thanks.

Probably has more to do with your TV than the channel. Does it work on other SD channels?
