COZI's Irritating and Unnecessary Interruptions

What is with NBC10.2 (COZI-TV)? Whenever the weather service issues any kind of weather statement, COZI interrupts programs in the most annoying fashion imaginable. The video continues. The audio cuts out and instead there is one of those guys from NOAA weather radio reading a detailed statement very, very slowly. They he repeats it, again very, very slowly. Usually, the program audio is out for two or three minutes. Ten minutes later, they do it all over again. Programs become unwatchable and impossible to follow. This is done even for the most routine weather announcements and often they don't apply to locations anywhere near me (or to most of the local viewing area).

There has to be a better way. NBC10's main channel runs weather alerts as text messages across the bottom of the screen. Information is available and the program is not interrupted. These interruptions do not occur on other stations' sub-channels (ME, Antenna, This... from 17 and 69).

Congratulations NBC10, you have managed to become even more annoying than those cable channels where the actual running times of programs off-set the scheduled times so beginning or endings get cut-off. Please stop this! I like Cozi otherwise and that makes this practice so irritating.
