I notice the CP to move WGHC from Georgia has run out. Mr Sutton sold the station. I wonder if the new owners decided to leave things as they are?

According to those in the know, the 870 transmitter site has been constructed and tested. An application for license to cover the CP has been filed, and they are awaiting program test authority from the AM Branch.

Wikipedia claims it'll be a simulcast of the Georgia station. Which is talk.
But anyone can edit Wikipedia, so I did. You can't simulcast on a frequency that isn't broadcasting yet. So it is not currently simulcasting.

I heard a dead carrier on 870 the other morning but that was it. Not even an ID.
