CP for WRJH Brandon

It will remain a class A station. Appears to be just a change in height as the height above sea level will go from 689 feet to 722 feet. The city grade signal over Jackson will have an ever-so-slight nudge to the west, but not enough to be noticeable.

BTW, according to a 7/21 write-up, Roberts Broadcasting is awaiting approval from the FCC of its purchase of WRJH from On Top Communications.

Looks like the FCC approved the transfer of ownership to Roberts on 7/26. As for the latest CP - it just corrected the coordinates and height of the existing tower. A discrepancy was found during the due diligence process and it required them to file with the FCC to correct it.

I know this is technically unrelated to WRJH now, but is there any word on WZQK 970 in Brandon? will it be back on the air or is it kaput. As mentioned earlier the towers were taken down. The building is still there the last I checked and the red pickup truck is still parked in the driveway. Looks kinda sad since the station was sold.

Last I heard they were working on a new transmitter site a few miles from the old site. No idea when it will be back on the air at this point.
