CP issued that would allow WBTS to move closer to Atlanta

Greenville licensed 95.7 WIOL has just been issued a CP to move closer to Columbus and downgrade which was one of the hurdles preventing WBTS from moving its tower closer to Atlanta. I see that WBTS has a CP to increase its transmitter height but lower power from its current site which would slightly improve signal quality but the application to move into Atlanta still waits for action.

I think you mean it would allow WBTS to move into Atlanta. Isn't the application for the Kirkwood site (WSTR, WABE, WVEE, WSB-FM, WPBA-TV)?

That's probably the reason Cox hasn't gone after Clear Channel to do something about the outrageous interference caused by the CC digital signals at Sheppards Lane. They totally block WBTS out for at least a mile and make the WBTS signal almost unlistenable for about 3 miles. I've been on Lavista Road a block from the site, and even Star 94 gets distorted there.
