CPB Sues FEMA

This is an interesting story. CPB is the federal agency that funds public broadcasting stations. One of its missions has been to improve non-com radio's emergency notification system. It's been granting money to radio stations around the country to do this. Apparently the funds they distribute come from FEMA, and that agency has put a hold on the funds. Stations need the money in order to comply with federal law.

This is likely a preview of what will happen when other parts of the government stop funding CPB.
