Some FCC files i've been looking over and noticed a few ones to note. I checked the accuracy of the application info to make sure the filing is up to date. If some of these are out of date or wrong, forgive me.

Obvious ones:
95.9 WWBD Isle of Palms from 95.7 WWBD Bamberg
93.9 WIGL Saint Matthews to Winnsboro

Others

-WQKI 102.9 from Orangeburg to WWBD's old spot at 95.7
-WGFG 105.1 Branchville move to 105.3 in Branchville
-WSPX 94.5 Bowman move to 99.1 in Bowman
-WGNH 107.9 Lexington move to 103.5 (LP) Didn't they just move to 107.9 from 107.7?

105.1 can only move to 105.3 if we (WLRE) can move from 105.5 our main LPFM frequency to a new location on the dail that works as this is under the new FCC protection rules for LPFM stations. WLRE is looking now to see if a new frequency slot will fit without interferance to us or other stations in our area. Our parent companies Northern Bahamas Communications and Elloree Educational Assocation are watching this very closely as we were one of their first investments eight years ago when we came on the air and are still holding are own today in a rough market with a very good size listener base for an LPFM station. We our currently exploring every possiblity to allow 105.1's frequency change.

I haven't heard of these new protection rules yet, not saying they don't exsist.. but would love to know when they came into effect.
 
The hard and fast rules have not been put into place. However, the Commission has stated that where an existing LPFM exists and it provides 8 hours of local programming a day (more or less) that the full-power station seeking to complete a move-in that is expected to cause interference to the LPFM must permit the LPFM to move to a channel that is better than or equivalent to the existing channel and provide financial/technical support for the move before it can be granted. Where both these things are not true, then the Commission will deny the move by the Full Power station. At this point, this is published Commission policy. Should the rulemaking become finalized, it will become binding regulation.

Thanks for filling me in... I wasn't calling into question what the previous poster said.. I was just unaware and wanted clarification.

Wasn't trying to correct you. Just trying to be helpful and state what the status of it was.

As for WGNH, good for them. They've gone through a lot of work and effort to broadcast to their audience. I'll have to check out whether their coverage has improved.
