Definatly the best personality in media today. Razor sharp wit, marketable style, and, under it all, very intellegent. Boomer has gotten better over time in dealing with Craig, and overall I think the show is coming along in the right direction. I think the more freedom WFAN gives Craig, the more the show will soar in ratings. Incorporating more of Craig's funny bits and touching on pop-culture and big news stories rather than beating a dead horse with the constant sports has brought this show a long way in a short time.
 
It's really hard to accuse a person of being a plant when you agree wholeheartedly with them.

Boomer and Craig were discussing women yesterday, and the subject of Rachael Ray came up. Craig just snarked "no good!" in a way that was completely hysterical. Hard to describe on a message board.

The chemistry between Craig, Boomer, Carlin, and to a lesser degree, Al Dukes, really works. I've been a dyed in a wool O&A fan but I've all but stopped listening to them in the morning.
 
im not sure what a "plant" is, but in the context it was used i assume it means that i am in some way affiliated with the carton. for what its worth, ive never met him. i have listened to him for many years with the jersey guys where the audience was big, but paling in comparison to the market he is in now. most people have no idea what he's all about. ive always thought he was a tremendous talent, and his personality needed to be experienced by these people that think that howard stern and opie and anthony are as good as it gets. carton's wit is quicker and more appealing than anyone out there now. 101.5 gave him total freedom, and he realized the market he was in allowed him to be very over-the-top, and even called for him to stir up the controversies that he is notorious for. but he acknowledges the line, whether he crosses it or not, and knows what he can get away with with his listeners. he has done a lot of good things through charities and most of all standing up against corrupt politicians, whether it was for his image or not. and by the way you described it is "you can't get it across on a message board," i know you notice the same intangibles the i have through the years of listening to him.
