Crash is Doing Mornings

We (www.cflradio) have reported Crash will handle morning drive, Launa will take mid-days and the BS (Buckethead Show) will continue to air in afternoons. Sloar, who comes from 98 Rock/Tampa (WXTB-FM 97.9), will handle the evening shift.

This seems weird, why would you not just put Buckethead in the Morning? Crash is great, one of the best Rock jocks in the country...but I don't think he is a morning guy...Why not just put Buckethead in the Morning, Launa middays, Crash afternoons? That seems like the best choice.

I believe that Crash did mornings about ten years ago.....along with the recently vanished Dickerman and......Larry The Cable Guy.....

I think this took place after Ron & Ron stopped....and did not last that long....

I knew from watching his interview on "60 Minutes" that LTCG used to call into R&R, but I didn't know he actually co-hosted a radio show for a little while! Git-R-Done!

Crash did mornings with Gloria and Larry The Cable Guy somewhere between 97 or so and 2001. Dickerman was the producer if I remember correctly. At that point Pat Lynch and Taco Bob were afternoons. When they shifted the imaging to "Real Rock" at the beginning of 2001, the fiasco moved to mornings, and management told Larry the station was moving in a different direction and didn't need him anymore. Oops... then came Blue Collar Comedy. Wonder who's laughing now?

I'd bet they'll pipe in one of their Premiere Network AOR Morning Shows.

At 7:15am this morning Crash did a "eulogy" for Lynch and Bob ... even referred back to having to do it for Ron & Ron. Sounded like his time in the A.M. would be temporary.

I wish that we would get the real scoop on why Lynch and Bob were let go. They had a really funny show at times, and not only that, they were GOOD guys. What the hell happenned?????

As a radio fan, and to all of my fellow posters, even though we tend to disagree on a number of things, we deserve the truth, because Orlando rock radio is going down the tubes faster than Sonny's career without Cher.....

How long before Jody and Scott join the station?

They are already sending mass bulletins out on MySpace begging for everyone and anyone else they know to email JRR and tell them to "hire Jody & Scott". They have the program director's email linked and a form someone can submit. Guess that also implies that they aren't already being considered.
