Crawford Broadcasting in Birmingham is looking for folks to fill the following positions:

* Part Time Board Operator - Anyone looking to get their feet back in the door of the industry knows that positions like this are great entry points. One of the hosts on 101.1 started with the company as a part time board op and now he has his own weeknight show. Lots of growth potential here for those looking for full time production or hosting goals to be met down the road somewhere.

* Full Time Show Host - RARE (in this industry anyway)full time news/talk show host opening! While all we here about is how this company and that company are going more national with their news/talk, 101.1 The Source is adding to its 3 local weekday shows by adding another one!

Might this change in attitude be a result of losing nationally-syndicated Laura Ingraham to Clear Channel/iHeartRadio?
 
well - i know this ad was posted 3 months ago, and maybe 6 months ago? So...i can't say they seem too serious about filling the position.

I know someone. His name is Will Anderson. I hired him for afternoons at WVNN in Huntsville. He is now on WBHP in Huntsville from 6-8pm. You can listen live. Great God-given talent. He's been on-air here for about 6 years.
