One of the superstars of Chicago radio the past few years was WGCI's Crazy Howard McGee. Clear Channel decided to go with a cheaper syndicated show and fired Howard, despite his top ratings, just about 1 year ago. He's been quiet about his forced departure from WGCI & Clear Channel, but his silence is about to end! This Thursday afternoon, Crazy Howard McGee will doing his own Internet Radio show on USTalkNetwork.com (see link below). I've been told that Howard plans on letting it rip on Thursday. He's going to tell the "real" reason he was fired, who really fired him, who the phonies are in Chicago radio and in Clear Channel, why his ratings were so consistently good, why other DJ's ratings are now falling, why WGCI is falling in the ratings, and the truth (as he sees it) about many Chicago radio personalities. Art Porter and some of his old crew will be with him on his new show. Fans are welcome to call in (and he'll give out the number when the show starts). The show will broadcast from 3:00pm-5:00pm this Thursday.
