Crazy Tropo Going on Over the Carolinas

Today, throughout Greensboro, NC, I've been listening to WRJA 88.1 FM from Sumter, SC, as well as WKZQ Myrtle Beach, SC, in addition to an unidentified Ch 6 that's been popping up from somewhere. (I think it's got to be WECT, Wilmington, NC - it was an NBC affiliate, and I doubt it was WVVA)

Plus, all the Roanoke, Raleigh, and Charlotte stations that normally come in are coming in like locals, and some I've never heard before are popping their heads up. And I'm getting all the various UNC-TV xlators that usually pop up on days like this, plus WWWB 55 from Rock Hill, SC (Charlotte Market). Usually the only Charlotte TV station I can swing is WSOC-TV 9 (on a good day).

In Georgia too!

Atlanta, Albany, and Montgomery stations were blasting in like locals all day today in Columbus, GA (all 90-100+ miles away). Other more distant cities were coming in clearly as well, but not as constant or static-free.

Re: Crazy Tropo, VA also

In Richmond, VA, last night (6/7):
NBC17, UPN 28, ShopNBC30 and Fox50 all from Raleigh-Durham extremely well just waving my Silver Sensor around my living room (LOL; I am working on a more serious setup!) Usually don't see these at all
Also got Fox45 Baltimore in strong this AM

As usual, all of this dovetails with Hepburn's Tropo Forecast for today (http://home.cogeco.ca/~dxinfo/tropo.html)
