Why HD Radio is better then a chick

1. HD Radio gives me brilliant digital sound
The chick neither has digital sound nor is she brilliant.

2. HD Radio doesn't require a subscription or any other expenditures. Plus, I get new stations including Extreme Hip Hop, Young Punk, New Hit Music, Dance, etc etc. The chick, well she gives me the bill "50 pairs of shoes?" "WTF" And never gives me anything in return.

3. And I never have a problem turning it on. The chick well..

Why HD Radio is Better Than a Sharp Stick in the Eye

1. HD Radio will eliminate competition from first adjacent stations that might be playing better music than you do.

2. HD Radio will keep all of those nasty DX'ers from straying off your station, and not hearing your commercials.

3. HD Radio will allow you to sell twice the number of commercials - nothing is stopping you from putting them on the HD-2 channel right now!

4. HD Radio will eliminate complaints from the near fringes of your FM coverage. You simply won't have fringe area listeners any more to complain.

5. HD Radio will allow you to have stereo commercials and stereo musical beds on your AM talk station (ooooo ahhhh)

6. HD Radio will lesson people's expectations of what AM music should sound like. They will learn to love annoying phase shifts caused by overcompression, and you are guaranteed to sound at least a little better than streaming audio on dial-up.

7. HD Radio will kill off an inconvenient technology like C-Quam, which although still installed in millions of cars, is deemed a failure because everybody knows AM is for sports and talk. You would much rather have a stereo system that only 0.0001% of your listeners can hear rather than one that is in cars now.

8. HD Radio will piss off Leonard Kahn. We all know what a noble goal that is.

9. HD Radio will encourage millions of happy consumers to go to their local Radio Hut store and buy a $500 radio - single handedly rescuing the domestic electronics business, putting millions of Americans back to work while happy elves dance in the forest tra-la tra-la.

10. HD Radio will enrichen a group of deserving excutives at Ibiquity and Clear Channel. One should feel noble - helping out such deserving people.
