Creative Services Director at WXRT - Chicago

Can anyone give me a status report about this position? Has it been filled? If so, by whom?

It was advertised as available close to 4 months ago.

Curious

Yes - that's what I've been told. Hard to believe they can be without a Image and Commercial Prod guy for so long, though eh?

I actually called after about 3 months went by and they told me 'No - the position has not been filled'

I'm crazy qualified for the gig, and would love to have an opp. to move back to my sweet home Chicago - wish me luck

All the best. Back when our stations had to be manned around the clock, I used to get some great calls overnight from out of market pros wanting the lowdown on our stations. Call during the off-off hours, maybe you'll get lucky with someone willing to give you inside info.

Anybody at CBS Chicago out there? What's the status on the WXRT Creative Services Director Position that was open this past summer?

Last I heard, and this was only a month or so ago, is that the position, in fact, is STILL open.

Good luck!
