Creative Services Director at WXRT

Is there nobody at WXRT that comes to these boards? CBS? Anyone?

I'd like any information about the Creative Services Director Position at XRT that opened up this summer - has it been filled? If so, by whom?
 
Rob Feder in the Chicago Sun-Times reports that John Castino, former director of creative services at WCKG, has been named production director at WXRT.

WCKG (now Free?) is also a CBS Station, so they're keeping it in house - is that correct? Wonder who's gonna take over for John Castino.
 
Yes, both stations are owned by CBS. The entire staff of WCKG was let go, except for Steve Dahl who moved over to do mornings at WJMK. WCKG is now Fresh and will run jockless until after the first of the year. A handful of WCKG staffers, including OM Drew Hayes, were given spots within the cluster, which is how this position got filled.
