"Creature Double-Feature" returns to WLVI TV 56 (Boston)

Wow, That is a classic. to bad it's only for one day. I wonder if WLVI could o it more often. I miss the old days of roof antenna's.

I'm in Providence.

I like the old logo.

Makes TV feel innocent again.

I still long for the days of watching The Flintstones on "Living 56"

"LVI is part of Living on Living 56!"

Guess what???? They still make them! lol. If you want a roof antenna there is nothing stopping you from getting one. Also get an A/B switcher from Radio Shack. Then you can switch back and forth between cable and the roof antenna whenever you want.

yea, 1 day only but ernie the 3rd said if the ratings look good on saturday he'll sponsor it in the future. i don't foresee much of a ratings competition - world cup soccer? infomercials? golf?

Well, WPIX in New York bought back the Yule Log in 2001--not to go on something that's 360 from the subject--AND IT WAS BOFFO! In fact, even if WPIX becomes CW, the Log will still air come XMAS. I did see the old school WLVI-56 logo on the website--CLASSIC--though not as classic as TV38--but still...

Reminds me of when WPIX has PIX Saturday Night--a compilation of 70's sitcoms. On the WB11 website they even had the old 11 Alive logo--gotta love retro!

WPIX-TV (WB) channel 11 will indeed be a CW affiliate. WWOR-TV (UPN) channel 9 has been using their "My 9" branding for a couple of months now.
