is this confirmed? and i thought cressman worked for entercom? if this is true can 93X flip be far behind?
 
Format changes will not help that frequency at all. No money, no inspiration, no leadership in the building.
 
Funny...I was just listening to an old 'MFS aircheck from when we were down on Sycamore View, and the Belz owned it.

We had a blast! I'm fairly certain we couldn't shave a kid's head and set it on fire today.

Never knew Cressman. Heard he loved Memphis. Hope he ends up in a good place.
 
I am sure he is a nice guy in real life, but I had issues with what he did to the station. One time I requested an old school song and he claimed they never played old school bands (at the time) and I reminded him they played the mightly Zeppelin and a few others. He then said "well at least we don't play overdone stuff like Stairway to Heaven." About ten minutes later, you guessed it, they played Stairway. I changed the station and never listened again.
 
He's an awesome dude in real life! But like you, I didn't like the choices he made (or I was told his decisions from about 99-01). How can you possibly be an Active Rock station, and still play Matchbox 20 and the Goo Goo Dolls, with Metallica and Korn in-between, and still have Howard Stern in the morning?

Again, I've met him, he's really awesome and I hope he's okay. But that era turned off a lot of listeners!
