Crickets in Evansville

Sure is quiet about those Evansville numbers.

The usual ass kissing of the South Central stations performance is curiously absent.

What a tank job for mainstream. Both WSTO & WDKS drop a share and a half. Garbage in. Garbage out.

Yo WSTO. Do you really need 100k watts to get your butt whipped by an 5,000 watt AM (WGBF)? That would be a waste of...95,000 watts!

Meanwhile, the most poorly run station in the market, WEOA, gets within striking distance of KISS. And I wonder why....

To add insult to injury, the little station that can with less wattage than a refrigerator bulb, WGBF-FM, jumps to 3rd 12+. NICE! Great work Sandman and crew.

Unfortunately, numbers and hard work don't seem to matter anymore. They like to run it on the cheap.

I suspect the strength of WGBF-AM is due to the election that was so popular during the book. Lots of news-talkers had a good Fall 08 book.

South Central actually earned fewer shares than Regent in this book.
