Crime & Investigation Channel?

Why don't A&E put more of an effort into Crime and Investigation? Does it have any original content really? Looking through its schedule all it seems to show is repeated content from A&E/Biography/Lifetime. I presumed it was like ID and had a raft of original shows but it all seems to be repeats. Whereas ID has been flourishing with original content for the past few years and is now one of the top 10 cable networks. Why don't A&E give it more attention? It doesn't even have a website or a Facebook page.

This is just like all the other cable networks. They add these extra "filler" channels so they can charge cable companies more money. For example, do we really need 3 Hallmark channels that all pretty much show the same thing...
 
The ladies and gents of Live PD have been pretty busy, but that is not a channel by itself.

You don't know what you're talking about.

Hallmark Channel shows sitcoms Golden Girls, Full House, The Middle, Frasier, Cheers, I Love Lucy, a lifestyle talk show, and romance movies.

Hallmark Movies and Mysteries shows Matlock, Muder She Wrote, Diagnosis Murder, Columbo, Monk, Psych, Hart to Hart, and mystery movies.

I don't know what Hallmark Drama shows. So far it's not on any major carriers.
