I remember them all (and I'm surprised that I forgot to mention "Playground in My Mind" earlier myself!), but I don't remember who sang "Dear Mr. Jesus." I just remembered it being a child (probably a girl) who sounded about seven years old. Then a Michael Bolton soundalike took over for the last chorus at the very end of the song. (Hate to say it, but it might have been a little bit better if the Bolton soundalike had sang the whole song himself!)

Indian Lake--Cowsills
One Bad Apple--Osmonds

Sorry, I played "Indian Lake" on your Zenith several times while I was working on it....if I'd have known, I would have avoided that!

Beth- Kiss
Loving you- Minnie Ripperton

I could never understand "Loving You" by Minnie Riperton with that screech being called a hit. Shame is what it is. Fortunately it is stuck in the cardboard box in the cornfield and rarely gets any real air play.

Oh no, now I have to expunge that song from the radio. ;D

Never--I've had it almost 50 years.

Like the old Grundig Majestic. Can't beat the cabinetry or quality of the sound. AM FM LW SW - yep, even back then there were all four.

Watching Scotty Grow – Bobbie Goldsboro

Goldsboro's music had no more to it than Goldsboro, Maryland (which I've been through a few times). Although I like "Voodoo Woman".

Bobby Vinton - Mr. Lonely
Sue Thomson - Norman
Dodie Stevens - Pink Shoe Laces
James Darren - Goodbye Cruel World
Oliver - Good Morning Starshine
Gerry Rafferty - Baker Street
Gordon Lightfoot - The Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald.
Proclaimers - 500 Miles

That last one I have no opinion on, having never heard it.
"Edmund Fitzgerald" I like, except for the verse where Lightfoot rattles off the names of each of the Great Lakes like he's on the Travel Channel.
"Baker Street" I like, except for the edited version (and I also like "Right Down the Line" and Stealer's Wheel's "Stuck in the Middle With You" [Rafferty was in that group]).
The rest of the list, its perps can have.

And a cringe vote from me for Harry Chapin's "Cats in the Cradle" (too overreliant on "a" rhymes in the verses).
