Sounds suspicious to me....the main AND aux transmitter....totaled. All the other equipment too! I
Wish we could have gotten a marshmellow roast together.....

The saddest day was when it flipped to Spanish. Bring back the oldies!

Rumor surfaced that the WLKQ facilities burned last night. Anyone know, is there any truth to it?
Somebody was making nachos out at the trasmitter site and the hot plate accidently set the buidling on fire. Instead of throwing water on it...they tried using tequila. Live and learn I guess.

Gwinnett county has three licenced radio stations. None of them are spoken in the english language. I know this will not change anything! But I would like to add at least Im not the only one who regrets the change of local programing. Gwinnett county is not 100% Spanish is it? I live in Gwinnett, and even though I see that
the population is largely changing- I still feel we need a local radio station that serves the other portion of the population as well. This is just my opnion, Please dont read things into this that I dont mean. Im just asking, when the licence comes up for renewal will it do anygood to protest the format of the station,
and the licence?
