Cross Promotion

How often do Providence clusters Cross Promote their stations? I've heard the morning guy from the Score do sports on WPRO.. then say "for more sports tune to ...". How often does this happen in the area, or in radio in general? Does it work, or does it hurt?

My opinion is it does not hurt, remember.....unseen, untold is unsold.

Although, I would love Entercom to take over 99.7 and flip it to FM-Talk.
John Depetro and Howie Carr back in Providence then pick up everything WHJJ dropped and run it on WRKO-FM 99.7. I would love that.

Pick up Arlene and run her during 12-3 when Rush is on.

Ihear WPRO-AM doing it quite a bit when it comes to The Score cross promoting games.I'm not sure if CC music stations cross promote news on WHJJ.What I get a kick out of is assigning sexes to stations. The Score and WPRO-AM are brother stations.I would assume PRO-FM would be a sister station.
