Cross Town "Rivals''

In efforts, to show listeners, there is no
(REAL) tension between stations/and "DJs"
?
Would this fly ::: ( as a one time deal) / maybe with an annual repeat ::::

>have station one, say on a monday invite the cross town "rival" (urban) station
talent visit the competitor (say 95.7 fm's) DJ >goes to (ie) 103.1's studio...
(for one hour)

Then the next night, (same thing) DJ: from 103.1 goes to 95.7 and they
do a co host show ( say it is during the 7 at 7 ) _ and show why the
competition is "friendly" is not personal - and PERHAPS tie in a RECENT event
(say that strikes a chord w/ the community) and the CO HOST "moments"
try to show by example, all have the same good hearted intentions..

OR, is there JUST TOO MUCH RED TAPE / politics/ EGO's / BS_ etc for
this to be even a REMOTE possibility ( remote as in zero chance) not a remote
as in on location w/ the station...LOL

>> this came to me, w/ recent events in my community ( Buffalo, NY)
>> This also came to me: as I have seen two (un named) "Rival" DJs in
or around this area, freely talking "shop" off the clock.. ..
>> This is some thing, when done right :::Really makes an impact, and
if there is a "cheap" reason for the suits to be "sold" on this idea,
> > >the pub. and possible national exposure would "look great"

Thoughts ?
