CRTC Allocations for Sooke, BC 94.7

I am doing a channel study and do not find a allocation for 94.7 in Sooke, BC on the FCC database. My engineer sees it on Comstudy, anyone know if this is still allocated? I will be calling the media bureau Monday to verify, but would like to eliminate this channel if it truly is there. I cannot seem to navigate the CRTC site.
Any input would be appreciated,
Guy

Obviously you've already got your result..

I don't know that you'd find it on the CRTC site. There's a separate agency responsible for the technical side of Canadian broadcasting. (basically, Industry Canada determines whether a given technical facility can be authorized without causing interference; the CRTC decides which applicant gets to use that facility.)

Industry Canada doesn't have search tools like the FCC does. (at least not anywhere I've been able to find it..) You can download their database on http://spectrum.ic.gc.ca/engineering/engdoc/baserad.zip. It unzips into a collection of .DBF files. (to my knowledge, Excel will open .DBFs)

That database does list a 94.7 in Sooke. It's a Class A station, CKKQ-FM-1, a translator of 100.3 in Victoria. Whether it's still notified to the FCC I don't know.

Thanks for the input, the CRTC site is tough to navigate, lol. I found the translator with the help of a friend up north. I am working on a channel study for Port Angeles (LPFM) I think I have a potential channel, now to verify it with my Engineer. I try to do some of the research when possible. Are you in Canada?

No, I'm in Tennessee. But I do a monthly report on regulatory goings-on for TV long-distance reception enthusiasts in North America, so I've become more-or-less familiar with Canadian policy/sources.

A real quick check suggests Sooke is pretty much the only place in Canada that's close enough to Port Angeles to be within the potential interfering contour of a LPFM.....
