Cruisin 93.5 - Good Time Rock & Roll

As of right now, I heard that WZCR's "Cruisin' 93.5" has dropped its "Good Times & Great Oldies" name and it becomes "Good Time Rock & Roll". Gone was the liners done by a long time HV DJ Van Ritshie and it is also replace by something else like Ziggy, the guy who did the CBS-FM liners as well as "Magic 100.9" liners, plus it's got some great jingles which it sounded a lot like CBS-FM to me. I hope the station should add some more 80's in the mix soon when 2009 comes dropping some of the 50's stuff as well as some pre-1964 music. That might be a smart move.

Yah they are all dropping the work oldies, like its poison. That dead horse has been beaten to dust. Probably will bring 80's into the mix. no different than the rest. Drop the 50's?? No way. As I have said before, there's a niche for 55-72 oldies and the format is still up for grabs in the Hudson valley, if anyone has the stones to do it.....

Please nothing about 92.9 or wbpm, disney....it makes my head hurt....

Cruisin' 93.5 actually made this change in JULY, thank you for noticing 5 months later. AND Van is still the voice for the station on the new liners. Thank you for noticing that too.

They also use the jingle package known as "Home of the Hits" which was originally made from CBS-FM. Very much CBS-FM like sound.

Its no surprise.....

WEBX in illinois went from ACTIVE ROCK to CLASSIC ALTERNATIVE (Which is garbage)

I had thier stream in my favourites,when i discovered this change i removed them straight away!
