Lol! Just Crummey and the staff of five at kabc! Look at how many saw this post - not many!!
What's the big deal with this guy? At least once a week since I've been coming here, somebody will post "Bring back Joe Crummey!". I heard him on Brian Whitman's podcast recently and meh. What's so great about him?
The myth of crummey is that he is like that old movie you haven’t seen in 20 years. It’s finally out on DVD and you watch it and realize it wasn’t that great after all.
Crummey was on the air when everything was in alignment and came together (following Leykis, the world was different, issues weren't not so serious, politics was not as venon filled as now). It all worked at that time in space. But since then he has bounced from station to station and reinvented himself a few times but nothing works. Because after all he wasn’t that great just like that old movie. I doubt he would do any better if he found a regular gig at KFI or KABC.
