He has to fit in his eeevil wisdom in only a minute? A guy like Crummey deserves more than that, but who knows... it's only the beginning.
Nice to see there are audio archives on the page for those of us who can't hear it in the 7 o'clock hour. How very weird it is to hear him now say he's at THAT station! ;D

I agree with K.L. Lauren, because I wouldn't be able to listen at 7:50. BTW, isn't that the same time as Rush Limbaugh's commentary?
I liked the first one regarding Murdering BOA robber. Joe explained it perfectly. Lets give him a few weeks to settle in before praise/torture him.

Here's the talk show host that you really like, and I aint no dummy. I feel so happy when I'm at the mic, cause I'm Joe Crummey. In the afternoons on KFWhyEYE 92~Three entertaining you on your Crummey ride home. Joe Crummey is handsome and humble on the Joe Crummey Show! (as sung by Billy Preston)
Crummey is great, I wish he was on a better run station though, Russ is inconsistent and appears to be grasping at straws these days.
Notice there's no mention on this page, nor the press release, that Crummey records out of his El Ay home and emails his commentaries to the station?

Russ hired Crummey in an act of desperation, once again throwing darts at the wall to see what sticks. The Evil Crummey, on the other hand, is also desperate ... desperate for work with no full-time, steady income the past nine months after being foisted by J.D. in pm drive. Crummey shines (that could be the name of his band!) when he's a full-fledged talk show host, not a measly one-minute-a-day, know-it-all smart ass commentator from another city. (Any host at 92.3 could do that!).
Take a listen again to the two commentaries - and close your eyes. Crummey sounds generic, misses key story details, lacks passion (he has a manipulative, paint-by-the-numbers radio talk show host speaking style) and misses key payoff lines to his set-up and plants. Why is that? Crummey doesn't eat, sleep, drink, shit, fart and breath our rarieifed smoggy air .. THAT'S WHY!
And how much does he get paid for a week's worth of one-min. segments!!??

Speaking of inconsistencies, one of our favorite promos is the one where KT'R clains they aren't Republicans or Democrats. Then why are all their talkers leaning far to the right? The Nurse and I can't recall anyone (other than when Grant Woods subbed) who has a Democrat agenda.
