CSS (Cable Sports Southeast) Stops Broadcasting

CSS shut down Friday night at 11 PM CT, but Charter in Jackson, TN shut it down on May 29th and is now running a scroll that says the channel has been discontinued. There isn’t any replacement for now, so I won’t be surprised if they leave it open for the SEC Network when it begins in August. I didn’t watch CSS regularly, except for occasionally watching repeats of college football in the Fall, but I wanted to see how they ended last night and didn’t get to thanks to Charter.

CSS posted a few farewell videos today: http://www.csssports.com/

This past Saturday (May 31st) was actually their last broadcast day. I saw one of their last programs scheduled for that day: it was the recent Southeastern Conference championship game between the football teams of Auburn University and the University of Missouri.
