CTV sitcom actor J.P. Manoux charged with voyeurism

A cast member of CTV sitcom Spun Out has been accused of voyeurism after two women alleged they found hidden cameras in a Toronto condo.

Jean Paul “J.P.” Manoux, 45, was charged Tuesday by Toronto Police with one count of voyeurism.

Police officers last week responded to a call from two women — ages 27 and 25 — at a Queen St. W. condominium building.

The two women allegedly “discovered hidden cameras and video equipment connected to the Internet” in a condominium they rented from a man, according to a police statement.

Manoux, from Los Angeles, Calif., has played roles on hit shows such as Community and Suburgatory.

Most recently, he stars on Spun Out, a CTV sitcom featuring Kids in the Hall actor Dave Foley. The show’s second season had been scheduled to premiere March 5, with a special preview set for Sunday night after the Super Bowl.

However, CTV says in light on the arrest, plans to air the show are on hold.

This is the same JP Manoux who starred in two Disney Channel shows: Phil of the Future (as Principal Hackett and Curtis the Caveman) and The Emperor's New School (as the voice of Kuzco).
