They are Czech, not Russian, although they use Russian Svetlana tubes. The high power line comes in a 30, 60, 120 and 250 kw array. The factory that made them is long gone, and some of the Svetlana tubes are no longer made.
At the time they were installed, in 1966-1967, they were state of the art. I saw pictures and manuals when the manufacturer offered them to me in Ecuador. They were inexpensive vs. Gates or RCA or Collins or COnitinental offerings of the time, had manuals in Spanish and had nice phyiscal designs. They were not remot controlable, though. The sales person arrived accompnied by an obvious Politburo "watcher" in a horrible black suit.
