So there is a sticky story on the top of the board about Cumulus acquiring some talk show syndicators... I'm not sure I follow the whole storyline but I would assume that the over saturated talk radio market in Pensacola consisting of 4 AMs and 1 FM will be effected by this. Does anyone see a brighter future for Cumulus' 100kw Gulf Coast FM talk blowtorch? I know Rush and other Premiere/Clear Channel talk is king, but do you think the talent now associated with Cums and theoretically available to the areas only 100,000 watt talker props up 100.7? Do you think it could force Clear Channel's hand to put talk on a 100kw signal to compete directly with 100.7?
