if they did, its a long time coming. and as for sales, radio stations are always looking for sales people. its like waitreses..they come and go. oh wait, heres a better one, there like used car salesman, they come and go..
Show me a radio cluster that ISN'T looking for sales help. The Scranton/Wilkes-Barre Cumulus cluster is a mixed bag. Magic and BHT chug along. Has that rocker and the country station ever gained an audience? I don't know. Just asking. WARM? I'm not going there.
What is so annoying about Cumulus is that their famous Cumulus...The Power of Radio! advertising jingle that is commonly ran during certain recruitment ads. In my opinion, I think that this company is more powerful than any other broadcasting companies known to the industry.
Thats a shame....I've known Bill since he was PD at WPDH in NY, and spoke to him only a few weeks ago...always a nice guy and eager to help even if it's not his job....another casualty...man they are rackin' em up....
I've know Bill when he was only APD under Stew Schantz doing the 3pm - 7pm Monday - Friday on 101.5 WPDH, Poughkeepsie, New York. I spoke with a few time by e-mail. I got to meet his sister and bother in-law because they owned a deli back in 1992, in Ledegdale, PA call the Ledegale Deli off Goosepond Pond Road. They would listen to 101.5 WPDH on 106.1 WPDA in the Deli.
