Since the time I first heard about the increase for the Fan, I've talked around some Cumulus folks about what they REALLY had in mind once they made the upgrade. And they've always said, "Oh, we're serious about increasing the reach of the Fan" and the like. And I've always thought "Yeah, right, you're not going to go to all of this trouble and continue to program the Fan on that frequency."
But you know, looking at today's market climate, I'm not so sure that at this point they won't just let it play out. Oh, sure all of us could come up with what we think would be a better use for the dial position. But would the bottom line really do any better, especially if they made a change that required more overhead?
