Cumulus/Citadel and Titans Radio

Sorry if this has been addressed before but how will Titans Radio fair in the Cumulus/Citadel deal?
I know no one knows for sure but was just asking.
 
not really: most contracts I've dealt with transfer the existing agreement on to
the new owner...
 
That's what Cumulus is buying: Contracts, licenses, real estate, leases, trademarks, and stuff like that.

During the Citadel bankruptcy, the contracts were all voided and quickly renegotiated. They have deals with several sports teams, including the LA Dodgers.
 
Titans will not be bound by the current contracts. But they will be signing without issue with Crumcorp.
