Cumulus, Citadel, Volt Radio merge.

Ok, so I just heard a WKDF station ID. It sure sounded weird to hear it, "103.3FM WKDF-HD, a Cumulus station..."

So are WSM-FM and KDF staying the same? Personally I like, and listen to both of them. It's VERY rare I'll listen to 98 (Although I do like Billy and Karla). I went downtown the other night and every store I went in had KDF on. Are we going to see more of a classic flair on WSM-FM soon? Their current mix is the best in the market, although they do play a lot of the same 90's songs several times a day (Heads Carolina or Dust on the Bottle, for example).

On a side note, I hear songs on WGGC 95.1 out of Bowling Green 3 weeks sooner than on ANY Nashville station. What's up with that? They play a lot of great new country songs that the Nashville stations won't touch.

You're right about WGGC. I heard Sugarland's cover of "Life In A Northern Town" last year, only heard it on WGGC, Nashville didn't touch it at all.
