cumulus cuts hit mobile too

as of wednesday cumulus mobile eliminated four positions. gone are pat butler wgok mornings, jada kiss wblx mornings, filly kicks 104 afternoons and tim brandow kicks 104 evenings.

They could have turned off the power at 660 AM and would have saved enough money to keep those poor folks on the payroll. Cumulus (Mobile) needs to use their stations better. WBLX, WDLT, and WGOK are alright, everything else needs help. Unless those people are replaced with sharper workers, Cumulus Mobile will never grow. They might as well just combine Mobile, Pensacola, and Fort Walton operations into one building.

I started fixing up old equipment instead of buying new and cut spending on everything else (got the cable tv disconnected in the office, now everyone has to check the internet for news and weather) and will even take a personal pay cut before I ever consider employee cutbacks. It cost far to much to train a new employee to let a good one go.

yep, poledo --- pfm is for you. That's they way I have always tried to do it.
Crum just goes for the throat. Sad thing, it's their own. And the shareholders
rejoiced.
