WMSB *was* a special place. The old RCA 10 watt tube transmitter wouldn't do the full 10 watts in the early eighties but the coverage was still good since Lee Hall was on a hill and the transmission line was short. No audio processing either. Never worked an air shift there but I was the chief engineer for awhile back when at least a second phone license was required.
