Cumulus flipping FM station to sports

Logo on KTCK page says 1310 am 104.1 fm
On Facebook people wondering why stream has yahoo sports

though were they on 104.1 already? 40 or so mi north of D

One would believe that if The Ticket was moving to a (stronger) FM signal, it would be 96.7, which is currently a talk (WBAP simulcast). Wouldn't think Cumulus would move them to either 93.3, 96.3 or 99.5.

No chance that KTCK goes to 99.5. The Wolf is making money. If the The Ticket picks up another FM simulcast, it would be 96.7. Does Cumulus want to break up the WBAP AM/FM simulcast or do they want to expand the reach of KTCK. We don't know, we just have to wait and see until they get all the stations in Victory.

No chance of KTCK going to 93.3 either, i93 is doing a lot better ever since signing on

104.1 FM works fine everywhere north of LBJ and I listen to nothing else.

I don't think Cumulus is ready to abandon the WBAP FM experiment yet, anyway. Maybe in another year or two we'll have 96.7 The Ticket.

Giving the whole station the day off after a Cowboys season-ender, and going network all day, was a pretty hare-brained move. They're playing catch-up today.

104.1 starts to fade out around FM 160 and state highway 121 in the eastern edge of Grayson county. The FM signal is iffy in most of Fannin county for 104.1 and 96.7 depending on the weather. The 1700 am signal was good in both counties. Too bad they will sell it off.

They may not care but there are lots of good P1's up here in Big Sky country.
