Cumulus Houston problems

The "half arsed" comment was not directed at the Houston side. More the Atlanta or the disconnect somewhere therein.
I actually had my work schedule changed to listen to Pruitt and Shannon in the afternoon and have defended everyone else at one point or the other.

Ok...but 101.3 out of LCH doesnot cover Alex or Marksville well...98.1 and 96.9 do (and all three do have W&J on them)...
Next time, remember *LSP on your cell will call the La State Police and you can get road info that way ;)

You have made your dissatisfaction with W&J clear in an number of threads. Your point is taken. I've heard others mention it's the only time of the day KIOL has ratings so you thought wrong.

Actually i agree with Rex too. W&J stink. Cumulus will wake up one day and figure the only big fan W&J have is Pant Fant.
 
I've grown tired of the debate over why Walton and Johnson are still are the air. They're not funny and never will be and that they're still on the air is reason why anyone can say with certainty that Cumulus is one dumb company.

They're just dumb in the decisions they make. It's not a smart company. Cumulus has big problems. Isn't that obvious from the nonsense that they've allowed here? Signal issues that never get better, no talent hires and stupid firings. Formats that make no sense. And from what I hear, the Houston nonsense is just the tip of the iceberg. I worked with sellers from there last year. I heard horror stories. They're all gone now, at other stations and they don't look back. Based on what they've said Cumulus keeps W&J on, not Fant. He's just a hired gun. Hired to fire and hired to hire whoever the honchos tell him to. I think that's got to be a miserable existence.
