Cumulus Huntsville and IDs

What is with the legal IDs for WUMP and WVNN, during the Alabama games, they pause for station IDs, and it's just silence, then a few minutes later (or before) the WUMP /W280BA ID top of the hour ID runs over the game coverage, then the WVNN-AM/FM TOH ID runs at half past the hour when they pause, or are in commercial.

Look at the very first word in the subject or topic line beginning with a "c." Need anyone further explain?

Many sports teams offer the ability to automate their broadcasts now. Sounds like no one at Cloudy set up the tone to play the legal ID. Since you mention that it plays overtop of game coverage, it sounds like it's hard timed for normal programming, probably at :59:50

I've given up on them making an effort to fix the problem and i've hooked my fm xmtr up to my dx rig so i can hear 93.9 WYTK from the shoals out around the yard, don't even have to turn my antenna, since i already have it turned for WWFA.

Funny... when I was programming that station (Aug 2005 to Mar 2010), the IDs played every time, at the right time. If they did not, I would stop what I was doing, go to the station, and either fix it or manually run the board so it sounded tight. Just part of my commitment to excellence that is apparently sorely missed following my exodus.
