He's been out for 1-3 weeks. Not many people left in that building or in the Entercom place, from which Scott Roddy has departed.
 
Scotty is at KAFE in washington..He's not on the air but working hard. The station is streaming on the internet..And still keeps in touch with his friends here in Radio Wasteland Indianapolis.
 
WHEN---------------------Is 104.5 WJJK going to get smart and update it's worn out top 100? Also Indies SO called album station could use an enima as well.
 
To RDO.In reference to who is running 107.9....Some computer assist in the morning but most of the day it is run by a computer as most stations in Indianapolis are now. And then Station owners wonder why people are going to XM Satellite. Better variety,Better choices.
 
I asked Scott Roddy if there was a chance of WNXT to go oldies and he wanted very much to do that because there is a large dedicated audience not served here in Indianapolis. The reason it wont happen..The Operations manager did not want to take a chance...What could they loose? They only have 19k of listenership...I Know some pirate operations that do better than that.
 
I would love to see Cumulus Run out of town and have a Responsible hands on owner Take over their properties like RUSS OASIS...He owned 101.9 which was a good oldies station but lacked the power to really get into the Indianapolis market place...I talked to Russ about this and he would be interested in a Radio Cluster if he came back to Indianapolis...He is King of the hill in Fort Wayne...RUSS OASIS come on down!!!! We need you here..
