But Wait what Markets am I supposed to look at for Cumulus to Justify a contract renewal for Savage? In the San Francisco area his flagship station KSFO-AM is getting a 1.9 in the ratings and this market is not the kind of show that attract people like him though?

They made him their defacto afternoon news/talk host when they dropped Hannity from several key stations. The lack of an alternative is what is driving this. That, and his ratings, while not superior, have been adequate. I'm sure he comes at a far lower cost than Hannity did.
