Cumulus / Lexington

So, what's going on there?

When Bandy & Bailey first came to town, all they said to anyone was how they were just here for a few months before they went to Nashville for their big syndication break. As far as I can tell, they're still in the Kincaid Tower every morning.

Then, they bring in some hot shot from Cincinnati to fix up the place as a co-Ops Manager and PD for 103. In a market as small as Lexington, that seems VERY odd, especially since the guy has no apparent rock experience. If I were the other half of that "co" or the PD of The Bear, I'd be REALLY worried about my job security right now. Knowing Cumulus, I'd probably be worried if I were either one of them.

Then, they let their only heritage jock for The Bear, who is also Production Director, go without having a replacement. From what I hear, there are some very unhappy campers in the building who are picking up the slack.

Then, according to their websites, they need a new Chief Engineer. Did they can him, too?

What's the story there? Everyone talked about their new GM as being someone who likes stability in his house. Sounds like the place is in disarray.

That place is a compete mess. As long as the Dickey Brothers get their 40k a year raise, that's all the matters. ANY OTHER COMPANY who's stock had performed so poorly over the last few years would have had a change in CEO's. BUT, since the Dickey boys are the majority stockholders, they won't vote to fire themselves. The Lexington cluster should have a four letter word that starts with an "f" follow cluster. Bandy and Bailey are never going to Nashville. I doubt if they will stay there much longer. From what I hear, there are not many happy campers at the stations. And that"hot shot" from Cincinnati, is really from FLorida, he never really made it to Cincny. Ask him how he did in Charlotte!
